Triathlon Training

I found a 13 week training program for a triathlon, I only have 11 weeks, so I'm going to have to start on week 3 of the training. I'm really excited about it, I was pretty nervous about it, I've gone heavy on recruiting people to do it with me. I think I have my friend Nora convinced, have you signed up Nora? Amber, you know you want to do it!!! It would be really fun to have more people do it, so let me know if you are interested.

I'm going to have to adjust the schedule a bit, Sunday will be an off day instead of Saturday, and I generally workout for an hour at the gym when I work out, so I will be lifting weights or working out longer than it suggests.

I signed up and James said that I probably had some time to think about if I had wanted to wait. I went to the cycling class this morning and thought, "what have I done?" This will make great blogging material.

Ooohhhh, I don't know, Marissa!! I want to do it, but I admit- I'm a little SCARED! On the schedule, does swim- 35/ bike- 50 mean wim for 35 minutes, bike for 50 minutes? That's it?!?

Amber, yes that is what it means. Today I was only supposed to swim for 30 mins, but I like to workout for about an hour, so I swam for 50 mins. and yesterday I was supposed to run for what 25 or 30 mins. I ran for an hour. You don't have to follow the schedule exactly, I'm just using it as a guideline.
