Knitting

This time of year, as the weather gets cooler, I start to yearn for yarn. I really don't like knitting, I much prefer crocheting, but I have found there are way better patterns for knitting. If I knit something, I end up knitting it at least 10 times due to a mistake, where I have to tear it apart and start again. I try it every year, even if I just do a scarf. I have never used circular needles and a hat for Maya was my first attempt. I finally got it right, after about 15 tries. I am so happy with the finished product, I will be making hats for my boys and a hat for myself.

Oh, she's adorable. Beautiful photos. Did you use studio lighting?

Thanks Jennifer. I didn't use studio lighting, I told her I wanted to take some pictures of her in her hat, she plopped down where she was behind the couch. Luckily I was getting some good light from the window next to it. You can see the grain in her shirt, my ISO had to be up at 1600.

That's just adorable. I am hopeless at both crochet and knitting. My MIL can do both wonderfully but couldn't teach me at all! I'm hopeless.
