LOOK AT THE PRICE OF THE GAS!!!

Look at the price of that gas. $1.01, WOW crazy. Kristi (3rd from left) just sent me a bunch of pictures that she just found at her mom's house, this was one of them.

This happens to be one of the funnest days of my high school life. I will have to do an entire post on it. It was an unplanned skip day, the car broke down outside my dad's office. We saw Sister Simmons (my seminary teacher) walking downtown as we drove by, this creepy gas station guy Omar (shown on the left) asked me out, and then we took a picture with him?!?!?! and so much more.

Those were the days...not sure how high school kids can afford to skip and drive around these days.

I wish I could remember who took the picture. I love your painfully obvious body language. I have TONS more from this day and the Galveston one.

Now those are faces that I know and love! Well except for Omar :)

I remember the summer before my senior year, so 1998, gas was 89 cents a gallon in Dallas. Man those were the days.

You probably thought it was creepy then for that guy to ask you out but now - he's like a man and your a child - SICK!

and for the record - I remember has being 75 cents at that racetrack gas station on 1960 in humble back in 1997. ahh, the good old days when you could put a dollar of gas in your mom's car to get around in and leave perfectly empty once you were home.

I remember the racetrack being that cheap as well - they ran that promotion for a while after their 'grand-opening'...

Before I read the post I was totally trying to remember which of us had a creepy, older guy friend. Glad to know that he's just a weirdo from your past. He totally looks like he made himself right at home - nice!!
