The only Valentine I need

All this talk about Apolo and Sawyer might give you guys the wrong idea. There is one and only man for me, and the Valentine card he made for me just confirmed what I already knew. A few of our friends have been OBSESSED with the show Lost, I would mock and make fun of them (sorry Julie, you took the brunt of the mocking) for being so involved and completely addicted to the show. Well, after 3 years, Michael and I were feeling out of the loop and decided we would find out what all the hype was about. We watched the pilot and we were hooked. We watched the complete first season in a little over a week, I beg him every night just to watch one more episode with me, we usually watch 2 episodes. Well, just look at the AMAZING card I found on the kitchen counter when I woke up Valentines morning. After I saw this card, I couldn't care less about anything else we had planned that day, the card was all I needed.

The card got a little wet and smeared the washable marker, it says "I would love to get Lost with you anytime"You might not be able to tell, but the inside of the card is a pop-up featuring us stranded on an island, wreckage, and a pop-up tree. Notice my hot body and Michael's six pack.

And what would Valentines be without a heart-shaped box full of chocolates?

Now, here is the crazy part.

Not only did Michael make the most amazing pop-up Valentine card, but I made him a pop-up card too. See what I'm saying, we were made for each other.

Michael got off work early so we could go and get a couples massage. It was 70 mins. of pure heaven, unfortunately it was not overlooking the ocean like the image below, but I had my eyes closed anyways.

Then off to Cafe Rio for a Pork Barbacoa Salad. Mmmmm....I'm salivating just thinking about it.
Since we were right next door, we just popped into Leatherby's to grab the most scrumptious caramel and a quart of ice cream.

We hurried home, got the kids in bed and watched a couple of episodes of Lost, (we are currently in Season 2) It couldn't have been a more perfect Valentines Day!

"Those were the days" Wait a minute...I never had a day like that! What fun! Massage, movie, dinner, icecream...wow! Loved the cards--regardless of whether Mike liked you "sharing" or not!!!
As for "Lost"...Candace tried to get us into it (she was-now on a mission) anyway, we moved here to Russia and borrowed Season 1. Finished it right up and saw Season 2. Guess what I got for Christmas this year? Yep, season 3. We need to start it!!!

Well Done! I'm so impressed with the effort. You both are totally on the same page. And Michael--your card was so intricate and detailed. Marisa yours was classy and cute. And LOST, I'm not investing emotion this season!

I am intrigued. I really didn't think it was possible for me to like that show. I guess I'll have to give it a try. DVD is the way to go for the impatient ones...me.

I love it! We went through the same thing last year. Now I'm really into it and all caught up, but hubby dosen't like to be left hanging so he has "saved up" and now we are watching this season together on his laptop in bed at night. AAHHH.... the romance. LOL
