Do you ever have one of those days where you just need at least ONE room to stay clean?
Well, this was my solution. Yes, I'm a terrible mom, I banned my kids from the living room. It was bliss.

That's awesome! I would try that if I had some place else to send them to - maybe the neighbor's house...? :) Love all the pictures of your sweet baby.
I love it! Just this week I was thinking I really need a home teacher room -- you know, a small area off the front door with minimal furniture, which is minimally comfortable at that. Somewhere that wouldn't get dirty ALL THE TIME. But how feasible is that? No matter the space, kids find a way to mess it up.
i love how reece is completely ignoring that sign....
This is a great idea. We have a room that sort of works this way - our front room is barely every used and is kind of the "home teacher room" another reader mentioned. If I could just get the toys to stay in one room, that would be a miracle.
Leighanne, Reece is a rule follower, he wouldn't dare go in there without the ban lifted. I had actually lifted the ban at the point I took the picture.
