Have you ever had one of those days where you have so much to do, that you get overwhelmed and just can't do any of it? A normal person (what is a normal person after all?) would make a nice little list, put them in order of priority, work through them diligently one by one, patting themselves on the back as they go. Not me, I made a skirt. Was it on my list of things to do? Nope. Do I need a new skirt? Nope. But I made one, so I put it on my list of things to do for the day, and then crossed it right off. What did I get done yesterday? I made a skirt.
Today, same situation. Too many things to get done, so I won't get any of them done. I will, however, add to my list, 'blog about your pointless skirt', just so I can cross off an accomplishment for the day.
Do I need a prescription for Aderall?

pa-ha! great post - i needed to read that someone else is like me today. i also have a list of things to do. . . and haven't done one of them today. . . and yet i'm sitting and blogging around. cool.
oh, by the way - nice skirt :)
cute skirt!
I like your way of thinking! Cameron gets so mad because I don't accomplish what I actually NEED to do. You can have my aderall! I don't take it anymore so I have bottles of it at home.
LOL! How funny! Your hired.. You can make me some skirts for work! hehe
I have been doing the same thing for too many years. I always add the things I do to my list, too. I have a two page list of things to get done before I leave for Utah on Tuesday. Today, I only checked three things off. I am overwhelmed by my list, maybe I should just make a new skirt! (Yours is really cute!)
Definitely make the new skirt, it is way more fun than packing.
The unique fabric trumped the list of "to dos". Will Maya get a matching one today?
wow we're too much alike. very cute skirt! I read somewhere that 7 in 10 people will add things to a list of things to do, even if they've already done them, so that they can enjoy crossing them off. I know I do.
Nora, I've got little pieces of fabric left, I don't have a nice big chunk because I cut the pattern on the bias. But, I thought I could piece together some fabric and make her a skirt.
Holly, it is good to hear that my list thing isn't totally abnormal! It was fun shooting with you today!

I hope you're enjoying the Omnivore's Dilemma. It will totally reinforce all the reasons why you garden and keep chickens - and then some!
