a cloth diaper.
Just one, just to see how it all works.
Before Madelyn was born, I bought a pattern and some fabric to make these. We will try the pre-made one first, then I will invest the time and effort to make them if I like them.

Megh, that would be awesome if you would!
I have been doing this for almost 8 years. Call me if you have questions. :)
Thanks Jamie, I will!
I bet it will be great. Call me, too. :)
I too think it's a great idea. I used cloth nappies for both of my kids and it worked out perfectly. I would like to recommend theese: http://www.babykind.co.uk/fuzzibunzonesize.htm they are really simple to use and have a layer that feels dry to the babys' skin even if wet.

Johanna, thanks for the recommendation. i will have to try that brand as well.
Jennifer, I got out my pattern last night and the 4 yards of flannel that you gave me, and I'm in the processes of making 4 cloth diapers.
I think it is going to be a lot less expensive to make my own.
Thanks everyone for your support!
wow, no pins! I remember going through Lewis' hip pushing in a pin...boo hoo. I love the velcro diaper attachment.
Chaliese uses the homemade wipes. They are wonderful.
