Yes Lindsay, that is The Pope, I was looking through my pictures from our bookclub dinner last year, and saw that picture and decided to post it. We had dinner at Buca di Beppo and sat at the Pope's round table. He kept our conversation clean, none of us wanted to say anything naughty in front of the Pope.

I'd recommend The Book Thief by Markus Zuzak. It's about a girl in Nazi Germany, and the narrator is . . . death. My only complaint was some of the language, but really, the book is excellent. The writing is exquisite.
Kristi, I can't believe you didn't get any snow, you are only a few miles from me.
Jennifer, thanks for the book recommendation. I just heard from someone else yesterday that it was a great book. With 2 recommendations, I can't go wrong.
