Reece is studying architecture in art class, today we studied Brunelleschi and the Dome of Duomo. Reece had to make blueprints for the dome he would make if he were asked to design one. I thought he did a great job, it includes the key elements of a dome, the collar, ribs and a lantern. He even added air holes in the dome to let air pass through, this is not a common practice in modern domes, but was used back in Brunelleschi's day.

This is really cool! I think its awesome you are studying architecture with him. The Duomo is on my list of must-see's while I live in Europe :)
