If you didn't know, we are raising chickens for the eggs. I just don't think I could raise chickens for the meat. I don't think I could kill an animal. Here is a picture of our latest egg. There is nothing better than fresh eggs! Well, besides chocolate.....oh, and Pene Rustica from Macaroni Grill......oh, and the Ben and Jerry's Creme Brulee ice cream.....oh, and caramel from Leatherby's. So, I guess I should say, There is no better EGG, than a fresh egg.

Oh, how cool is that! Tell us more...how many layers do you have, how many eggs do you get in a day, and of course, post some pix of this little hen operation.
Very cool.
I have 6 chickens, I'm not sure what you mean by 'how many layers' I have. I'm not that sophisticated yet. We average about a dozen eggs per week. Our baby chicks we got in the spring should start laying eggs soon. So, hopefully we will be getting more in the future. I will have to bring you some.
